This wasnt a movie that I walked out of the theater thinking 'Ive got to get this one for my kids when it comes out on Blu-ray. I laughed a few times, but not nearly as much as I had hoped or expected to. But his adventure is still far from over, and by the time Turbo realises that his dreams are finally within reach, his newfound family will be right there to cheer him past the finish line. Turbo Kid is fun, gory, endearing, and features gratuitous Michael Ironside, but it never quite manages to be quite as good as its premise suggests, while still being a satisfying burst of.
